Glycemic Improvements Following Mobile-Enabled Remote Patient Monitoring: A Randomized Control Study

Mobile technologies have become ubiquitous and digital health solutions such as connected diabetes devices and self-management mobile apps have emerged to support diabetes management.

In the context of connected care, mobile-enabled remote patient monitoring (RPM) involving connected diabetes devices and coaching has the potential to improve access to care and glycemic outcomes.

In the current randomized control trial (NCT02974816), we evaluate the short-term efficacy of mobile-enabled RPM implemented in an ambulatory diabetes clinic setting.
